Wow so last night we really celebrated the relationship between music and fashion! Part of the London 2012 Olympics closing ceremony unveiled a memorable fashion exhibition. This stylish parade was shown off  to the soundtrack of David Bowie’s tune, “Fashion.” Luxury British designers had commissioned their unique creations for the event. Kate Moss wore an Alexander McQueen sequin dress that poured down her like a glass of water. Lily Cole wore Erdem who had never designed anything gold before.

Redhead Karen Elson wore Burberry , Christopher Bailey never fails to impress and this gown was a head turner. Jourdan Dunn wore Jonathan Saunders and Stephen Jones. David Gandy energised the arena with his Paul Smith suit and blue steel pose. For us though a highlight came from milliner Stephen Jones. His feathered headdress struck gold and was the most majestic piece.

Georgia May Jagger wore Victoria Beckham, Lily Donaldson strutted Vivienne Westwood and finally Stella Tennant rocked Christopher Kane.

The MIDAS TOUCH photoshoot that got the Olympic ball rolling in Vogue’s September issue. The Olympic closing ceremony soundtrack was called “A Symphony Of British Music.” We heard tracks from The Beatles, The Who, The Kinks, Queen, Annie Lennox, Take That, One Direction, Taio Cruz, Jessie J, Tinie Temper, Brian May, George Michael, Beady Eye, Kate Bush, ELO and Emilie Sande.
